The visitor boo...Tourists were few and far between. The visitor book was also very patchy, most from Zimbabwe with some from South Africa. At the border posts it was mostly Zimbabweans returning for Christmas as well as trucks and traders. Beitbridge is one of the busiest border posts in southern Africa, but certainly not due to tourism. There is some optimism within Zimbabwe that this year may be different.
