Based on Google search data there is a declining interest in 'Africa' and an increasing interest in 'money'.

Here is the proof (based on Google Trends, 'africa' in blue and 'money' in orange):

What is this blog about?

This blog is about Africa's development challenge. It documents thoughts on how African systems are running down over time. Natural resources are exploited, the environment is degraded, there is destitude, poverty, unemployment and more then often a loss of human dignity. If it were to end here, this blog could have been filed under 'doomsday', 'white whiner' or 'the lost continent'. Fortunately it does not end here. This blog is even more about exploring options that may help set Africa on a sustainable development path. It also documents thoughts on Africa's greatest assets: the enormous value of its natural and environmental resources and the creativity and innovation of its people - often born out of sheer survival.
